Jeddah, Safar 18, 1437, November 30, 2015, SPA -- Under Patronage of Prince Khalid Al Faisal bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah Region, the Arab Air Carriers Organization (AACO) 48th Annual General Meeting (AGM) began its activities here on Sunday evening. The meeting coincided with the Golden Jubilee of AACO and participants included Eng. Saleh N. Al Jasser Director General of Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) and Chairman of the 48th AGM, the Director General The International Air Transport Association (IATA) Tony Tyler and more than 300 Arab and global aviation industry experts. In the opening speech of the AGM, Chairman of the Kingdom’s General Authority for Civil Aviation Suleiman bin Abdullah Al-Hamdan expressed thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and the Deputy Crown Prince for hosting this important conference on the territories of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, saying that it came within the framework of the keenness of our wise leadership to support and strengthen joint Arab action.
