Yemeni President appreciates Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' stances toward Yemeni people

Aden, Safar 18, 1437, November 30, 2015, SPA -- Yemeni President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi has appreciated stances and the efforts of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud in support of the Yemeni people in the current stage and in the different circumstances. "From Aden, I send a word of thanks, pride and gratitude on behalf of the Yemeni people to all the truthful free brothers, who shared with us worry and fate by standing with us in our plight, led by my brother the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Kingdom's government and people who are truthful and generous with their blood and their potentials," Yemeni President said in a speech on the occasion of the anniversary of the independence of his country. President Hadi also thanked the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the Arab leaders of coalition countries for their response to his fraternal appeal, describing it as "heroic and honest stance which was a great historic turning point in the march of Arab solidarity." The Yemeni President paid tribute to the martyrs of Operation Determination Storm from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Sudan and all the martyrs of the heroic resistance of the Yemeni people. President Hadi called on the United Nations and the international community to carry out their important role in the protection of the Yemeni people from the oppression and arrogance of the rebel militias through hard work to implement UN Security Council Resolution 2216, hoping success for the efforts of the UN Secretary-General Special envoy Ismail Ould Cheikh for the implementation of UN Security Council resolution. --SPA 00:42 LOCAL TIME 21:42 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
