Two killed in clashes between Kurdish party and police in Turkey

Istanbul, Safar 16, 1437, November 28, 2015 -- Two people were killed and several others wounded when members of the banned Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) clashed with security forces in the south-eastern Turkish city of Diyarbakir, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan confirmed on Saturday according to dpa. One of those shot dead was the head of the local chamber of lawyers, Tahir Elci, who had been talking to the media with a group of lawyers in the Sur quarter of the city when he was hit, DHA news agency reported.
