Vienna, Safar 13, 1437, Nov 25, 2015, SPA -- Crimes motivated by far-right ideologies have jumped 60 per cent in Austria this year, the Interior Ministry confirmed Wednesday. The daily newspaper Der Standard reported that Austria's police intelligence agency received 1,201 such criminal complaints between January and September, compared to 750 in the same period last year, dpa reported. Significant increases were recorded especially in the areas of incitement and neo-Nazi activities, according to the ministry's data. The rising numbers corresponded to an actual increase in cases, rather than to growing readiness among the population to report such crimes, Der Standard quoted intelligence officials as saying. -- SPA 23:14 LOCAL TIME 20:14 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
