Antalya, Turkey, Safar 03, 1437, November 15, 2015, SPA -- The European Union and Australia have agreed to launch free trade talks, both sides announced Sunday in the Turkish city of Antalya, ahead of a summit of the 20 world leading economies, dpa reported. "We agreed to commence work toward the launch of negotiations for a free trade agreement," EU President Donald Tusk, European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker and Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull said in a joint statement following talks. Such a deal would "support sustainable growth and investment, open up new commercial opportunities and promote innovation and employment in Australia and the EU," they said, adding that initial discussions should start as soon as possible. --SPA 13:19 LOCAL TIME 10:19 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
