Muscat, Muharram 20, 1437, Nov 2, 2015, SPA -- Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Adel bin Zaid Altoraifi extended thanks, gratitude and sincere pray for good health and happiness to Sultan Qaboos bin Said of Oman for his patronage of the Islamic Conference of the Ministers of Culture of the Islamic world, entitled: "Towards the moderate culture for the advancement of Islamic communities", and to Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, the Minister of Heritage and Culture of the Sultanate of Oman, on the warm welcome, good organization and generous hospitality extended to him and to the Saudi delegation, since his arrival and wished the Sultanate of Oman and its people progress and prosperity. In a speech during the opening session of the 9th Islamic Conference of the Ministers of Culture, the minister said that since the 8th conference ended in Medina, Saudi Arabia, during the period from 21-23 January 2014, when the city was selected as the capital for Islamic Culture in 2013, we in the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia were in continuous coordination with the Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization Dr. Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri and his associates in the organization, to follow up what was issued by the conference to put these decisions into practice." Minister of Culture and Information said that ISESCO has prepared documents containing fraught with monitoring the efforts of the organization and the Member States, during the past two years, in implementing the decisions of the conference, and the vision of forward-looking efforts we desired and the organization for the next two years, praying to God that the ministry has been successful in reaching the prospective we desired.
