Riyadh, Muharram 2, 1437, Oct 15, 2015, SPA -- The Supreme Court of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia issued today the following decision: Praise be to Allah Almighty and may blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family and companions, the Supreme Court held a session, on Tuesday evening, Dhu al-Hijjah 29, 1436H (October 13th, 2015) to consider the sighting of the crescent of the lunar month of Muharram 1437 AH. Since no response incoming to it from the courts and committees across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in this regard, the Supreme Court decided that yesterday, on Wednesday which was 14th of the month of October 2015 supplemented the month of Dhu al-Hijjah and that today, on Thursday, the 15th of October 2015 is the start of the lunar month of Muharram of 1437 AH. --SPA 14:56 LOCAL TIME 11:56 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
