Paris, Dhu-AlHijjah 6, 1436, Sep 20, 2015, SPA -- The Eiffel Tower, one of Paris's most iconic tourist attractions, was closed to the public on Sunday after a man with a backpack raised suspicions, French news agency AFP reported. According to dpa, a helicopter was deployed to closer inspect the tower but authorities have yet to find anything, according to the report. AFP quoted one policeman saying that the person who sparked the shutdown could have been an extreme sports fan planning on parachuting from the tower.
