Budapest, Dhu-AlHijjah 05, 1436, September 19, 2015, SPA -- The number of migrants arriving in Hungary rose sharply, Hungarian authorities said Saturday, after Croatia started sending people over their border, further straining relations that the migration crisis has already soured, dpa reported. Hungarian police registered 7,852 new arrivals Friday, most of them Middle Eastern refugees coming from Croatia. The asylum seekers waiting in Serbia to enter Hungary moved on instead to Croatia, which then said it is unable to handle such a large influx of immigrants. About 17,000 had arrived there from Wednesday through Friday. Croatia on Friday sent buses with refugees to the Letenye border crossing, and a train with 1,000 migrants escorted by 40 armed police arrived at the Hungarian border station Magyarboly. --SPA 12:30 LOCAL TIME 09:30 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
