Moscow, Dhu-AlHijjah 1, 1436, Sep 15, 2015, SPA -- Russia's consumer protection watchdog said Tuesday that it was imposing fines totaling 15.4 million roubles (230,000 dollars) against American fast-food chain Burger King. Violations of varying severity were found at each of the chain's 78 Moscow restaurants that were recently inspected, the watchdog Rospotrebnadzor's spokeswoman Anna Sergeyeva told dpa by phone. Sanitary violations were found at about a third of the restaurants, according to a statement on the watchdog's website.
