Bujumbura, Dhu-AlQa'dah 27, 1436, Sep 11, 2015, SPA -- Burundi's army chief survived an assassination attempt in the capital, Bujumbura, dpa quoted a military spokesman as saying Friday. Gunmen attacked the vehicle of General Prime Niyongabo - a supporter of President Pierre Nkurunziza - in the early morning hours, spokesman Colonel Gaspard Baratuza told dpa.
