Manila, Dhu-AlQa'dah 16, 1436, August 31, 2015, SPA -- Eight people were killed when a passenger van collided with a cargo truck in the southern Philippines, police said Monday, according to dpa. Eight people were injured in the accident late Sunday in Tacurong City, 960 kilometres south of Manila, according to local police chief Senior Superintendent Junny Buenacosa. All the fatalities were riding in the van, while five of the injured were aboard the cargo truck loaded with rice, Buenacosa added.
