Urumqi, Dhu-AlQa'dah 12, 1436, Aug 27, 2015, SPA -- One person was killed and one is missing after a steel plant caught fire in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region at noon on Thursday, said local authorities. The fire broke out at 12:30 p.m. during an overhaul operation at Bayi Iron and Steel Co., Ltd in Urumqi, the regional capital. The fire was put out one hour later, Xinhua reported.
