Signs of Life Detected from 11 Trapped Chinese Miners

Beijing, Shawwal 10, 1436, Jul 26, 2015, SPA -- Signs of life have been detected from 11 people trapped in a tin mine that recently collapsed in south-west China, state media reported Sunday. Some 500 rescuers were participating in the rescue efforts since the cave took place 1 pm (0500 GMT) on Saturday. No deaths have so far been reported. Ventilation equipment was still operating, a spokesman for the Yunnan province county government of Lianghe was reported as saying by the Xinhua news agency.
