Athens, Sha'ban 18, 1436, Jun 5, 2015, SPA -- Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras told an emergency session of parliament Friday that a deal with Greece's creditors was as close "as never before," a day after Athens gained some time in averting a default by deferring a series of debt payments to the International Monetary Fund, reported. Tspiras said that the proposals submitted by his government showed Athens' "sincere desire" to end the crisis. "We are in the home stretch," he said, asking all parties in parliament to support the government's efforts. --SPA 21:59 LOCAL TIME 18:59 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
