Riyadh, Rajab 2, 1436, Apr 21, 2015, SPA -- The Forum on "Translation and Its Role in Promoting Cultural Communication" started its works at the headquarters of Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS) here today. The two-day forum is organized by NAUSS represented in the College of Languages and Translation, in collaboration with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Award for Translation. As many as 121 male and female participants from the Arab Ministries of Interior, Culture and Information; Colleges of Languages and Translation; Departments of Translation at Faculties of Arts; media organizations, academics and researchers in the field of translation and other related fields from 14 countries are participating in the Forum. The 14 countries are Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, United Arab Emirates, Tunisia, Algeria, Djibouti, Sudan, Palestine, Kuwait, Lebanon, Egypt, Morocco, Yemen, Turkey and Denmark.
