Monrovia, Rabi'II 27, 1436, Feb 16, 2015, SPA -- Liberia re-opened the country's schools on Monday, which had been closed for more than six months due to an Ebola outbreak that has killed more than 9,100 people worldwide, the education ministry said. Initially planned for February 2, the re-opening was postponed by two weeks to distribute more than 7,000 health and sanitation kits - including hand-washing buckets and thermometers - to public and private schools, dpa reported. The education ministry said it has trained 15,000 teachers and school administrators on how to implement health and safety protocols to prevent further Ebola infection. --SPA 17:54 LOCAL TIME 14:54 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
