Al-Ahli of Jeddah won the trophy after beating the Riyadh-based Al-Hilal 2-1. The referee sent Al-Ahli's goalkeeper off for obstructing Al-Hilal's striker who was making his way to the goal unchecked. His replacement saved Al-Hilal's Nawaf Al-Abed penalty kick in the second half before his team striker scoring the equalizer. Later Al-Ahli made it 2-1.
