Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz attends launching of report on Arab women and legislations

Cairo, Rabi'II 12, 1436, February 01, 2015, SPA -- In the presence of Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, President of Arab Council for Childhood and Development, the Center of Arab Women for Training and Research launched here yesterday a report on Arab Women's Development under the title "Arab women and legislations." The Prince pointed out in his speech during the event that the advancement of Arab women is one of the basic conditions necessary to achieve a comprehensive Arab renaissance, indicating that the woman is a key partner in the development process and the issue of her empowerment is one of the core issues that occupies a prominent position in the developmental strategy of the Arab Gulf Programme for Development (AGFUND).
