California, Rabi'I 29, 1436, Jan 20, 2015, SPA -- A light earthquake early Tuesday shook a region of Central California southeast of Monterey Bay, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said. Roughly 700 people reported feeling the magnitude-4.4 quake, which struck at 5:21 a.m. local time. Police in the area had no reports of damage or injuries.
