Eight dead after Central African Republic passenger boat catches fire

Johannesburg, Rabi'I 24, 1436, Jan 15, 2015, SPA -- Eight people died and 127 were rescued after a passenger boat caught fire in the Central African Republic, Radio France Internationale reported Thursday. According to dpa, the boat's engine exploded as it was travelling on the Oubangui river, some 17 kilometres from the capital Bangui. Some reports said the boat sank.
