LOS ANGELES, Rabi'I 13, 1436, January 04, 2015, SPA -- Two small earthquakes have struck north of Los Angeles, shaking parts of Ventura and Los Angeles counties, but officials say there have been no reports of injury or serious damage, AP reported. The U.S. Geological Survey says a magnitude-4.2 quake hit Saturday night and was centered close to 50 miles (80 kilometers) north of Los Angeles near the town of Castaic. The USGS initially put the magnitude at 4.5.
