Riyadh, Safar 16, 1436, December 08, 2014, SPA -- Minister of Labor Eng. Adel bin Mohammed Faqih has launched a new national initiative to help job-seekers smoothly enter the Saudi labor market according to market needs and requirements. In a press statement following the launch ceremony, Faqih said the initiative aims at providing new opportunities for job-seekers to improve their skills to obtain professional certificates that would increase their job opportunities, and get-acquainted to requirements of businessmen. He said the certificates require professionalism in electronic learning which means site training rather than class education. He said more than 10,000 trainees are currently joining the program while 26 companies are also being trained to reach the same goal. For his part, the President of Takamul (integration) holding company Dr. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Ghunaim said "Droob", the nickname for the program meaning (roads to job), provides three basic pillars, first electronic training, second on-site training and certified certificates. --SPA 23:59 LOCAL TIME 20:59 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
