Sulaiman Al-Fahad -- speaking at the preparatory meeting for GCC Interior ministries' undersecretaries, ahead of the 33rd GCC Interior ministers' meeting at a later date -- emphasized the enormity of the problem of terrorism that is plaguing some countries of the region, KUNA reported. He also underlined in his speech in the meeting the imperative that GCC youth be protected by the authorities from socio-political influences that may lead them astray, seeking excitement through illegal drugs, using social networks for ill-gotten gains, and acquiring unlicensed weapons.
