Manila, Muharram 16, 1436, November 09, 2014, SPA -- More than 100 Filipino peacekeepers in Liberia tested negative for Ebola but would still be kept in isolation for 21 days after they return home next week, the Philippine military said Sunday, according to dpa. "They are 100 per cent medically and physically fit," said Colonel Roberto Ancan, chief of the military's Peacekeeping Operations Center. "There was no risk. They were not in contact with people infected with Ebola." Despite passing the Ebola screening test, the 108 soldiers will still be quarantined in an island south-west of Manila after they arrive on Tuesday. The soldiers would also not be allowed to have physical contact with their families, Ancan said. --SPA 12:30 LOCAL TIME 09:30 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
