Three dead in two suicide attacks in Afghanistan

Kabul, Dhu-AlHijjah 19, 1435, October 13, 2014, SPA -- Three civilians were killed Monday and nine people including three NATO-led international troops injured in two separate attacks in Afghanistan, officials said. A suicide car bomb targeted NATO vehicles in the capital Kabul, killing one civilian, said General Mohammad Ayoub Salangi, senior deputy minister of interior. "The attack happened in Qabilby neighborhood, near a residential compound for NATO contractors," Salangi told dpa, adding that three NATO soldiers were injured. In the eastern province of Nangarhar, a suicide bomber killed two civilians and injured six others, the interior ministry said in a statement.
