Mina, Dhu-AlHijjah 08, 1435, October 02, 2014, SPA -- The mission of Saudi Press Agency (SPA) in the holy sites monitored the movement of pilgrims on Thursday morning, Dhu al-Hijjah 8th, to Mina holy site to spend Al-Tarwiyah (Watering) Day in pursuant of Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). SPA reported pilgrims’ journey in the first phase of ascending from Makkah to Mina, which was characterized by easiness despite the intensity of numbers of vehicles and pedestrians, thanks to Allah Almighty and what has been prepared for them by the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince, and Deputy Crown Prince, including all potentials in various fields, topped by a network of modern highways, tunnels and bridges, some of them were allocated for pedestrians and others for cars. --More 13:42 LOCAL TIME 10:42 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
