GCC Interior Ministers Hold Emergency Meeting in Jeddah 2 The GCC Interior Ministers discussed the latest security developments in Yemen in light of the regrettable events that took place in the vicinity of Sana'a and other areas in addition to attacks on the security and civil institutions in Yemen which affect the sovereignty of the state and the security of the Yemeni people, expressing deep concern regarding threats against the Yemeni government and its institutions. The GCC ministers expressed condemnation of all works that took place in Yemen by using force of arms, expressing condemnation and denunciation against robbery of the properties and capabilities of the Yemeni people, stressing necessity to restore all official headquarters and institutions to the state of Yemen and handing over all weapons, all looted military equipments and public and private money. The ministers confirmed that the GCC countries' stand strongly with the Yemeni government and people through legitimacy and in accordance with the resolutions of the United Nations, the GCC initiative and the outputs of the national dialogue. They stressed that the GCC states will not stand idly in front of foreign categorical interventions, confirming that the Yemeni and GCC security is indivisible.
