Mina, Dhu-AlHijjah 06, 1435, September 30, 2014, SPA -- The Ministry of Health of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has taken all necessary measures to prevent contagious diseases from spreading during this year's Hajj 1435 H. with its hospitals and dispensaries in Makkah and the other holy sites affiliated to the municipality of Makkah equipped with the needed human staff and equipment, a senior official of Jabal Al-Rahmah hospital in Makkah said today. Dr. Wael bin Hamzah Mitair, the Director of the hospital, said all hospitals have been equipped with preventive appliances to stop the spread of epidemics, sun stroke and other diseases. He said the preventive measures include the installation of emergency clinics, isolation rooms, minor and major theatre rooms, kidney dialysis units, and beds for admitted patients in addition to support units, including x-ray, labs and pharmacies.
