Moscow/Kiev, Dhu-AlQa'dah 29, 1435, Sep 24, 2014, SPA -- The number of Russian regular troops in eastern Ukraine has declined, said NATO Wednesday, even as the organization warned that many other troops remain close to the border, as dpa reported. "We've seen a reduction in incidents and of Russian regular troops inside Ukraine, but some Russian special forces remain in Ukraine, plus a substantial Russian military presence on the border," NATO spokeswoman Carmen Romero said in an emailed statement. "While we welcome all genuine efforts to achieve a peaceful solution, Russia is keeping the option to destabilize Ukraine," she said. --SPA 17:26 LOCAL TIME 14:26 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
