Washington, Dhu-AlQa'dah 23, 1435, Sep 18, 2014, SPA -- U.S. household net worth hit a record high in the second quarter, the Federal Reserve (Fed) said Thursday. According to a Fed report, net worth climbed 1.7 percent to $81.5 trillion. Household debt increased at an annual rate of 3.6 percent in the second quarter, excluding charge-offs of home mortgages, while federal debt rose at an annual rate of 2.5 percent.
