Washington, Dhu-AlQa'dah 12, 1435, Sep 7, 2014, SPA -- Colombia Civil Aviation authority said Sunday that a small airplane carrying 10 passengers crashed in the Amazon jungle after taking-off from an airport in the southern department of Caqueta. “The aircraft was located—fragmented and incinerated—10 kilometers from the urban center of the town of Puerto Santander … It is possible that no passengers will be found,” the Civil Aviation Authority said in a statement. “Specialized rescue personnel are currently in a search and rescue mission for the bodies of the occupants of the aircraft,” the unit added.
