London, Sha'ban 28, 1438, May 24, 2017, SPA -- Saudi ambassador to Yemen Mohammed bin Saeed Al Jaber and a number of officials today participated in a workshop organized by the Gulf Research Center in cooperation with the Middle East and North Africa Foundation at Chatham House and the Royal Institute for International Affairs in London on Ways to Resolve the Yemeni Crisis. Al-Jaber reviewed Saudi support for Yemen in all fields stressing that the solution in Yemen is political according to the three international references, the Gulf initiative, the Yemeni national dialogue and the Security Council resolution 2216. The ambassador called on the Huthis to hand over weapons and withdraw, participate in the government and state institutions according to their size, pointing out the need to stop the Iranian interventions in Yemen to ensure the security and stability of the country in addition to protecting the region and navigational corridors.
