Arafat, 09 Dhu-AlHijjah,1437 AH, 11 September,2016 , SPA --Convoys of pilgrims began at sunrise on Sunday, the ninth of Dhu-AlHijjah month, their movement towards Mount Arafat. They were accompanied by security from various security sectors, surrounding vehicles' roads and pedestrian paths to organize them in accordance to the plans of dispatching groups of pilgrims as well as guiding them to ensure their safety. All various sectors of the Government operating in the service of pilgrims have provided in Mount Arafat holy site medical, emergency and food services to all pilgrims. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier, Minister of Interior and Chairman of Supreme Hajj Committee, and Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Governor of Makkah Region and Chairman of Central Hajj Committee have been following-up the process of ascending pilgrims to Mount Arafat holy site, directing to provide the best services to pilgrims to perform their Hajj rituals safely and comfortably. -- SPA 12:31 LOCAL TIME 09:31 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
