Washington, Jumada II 22, 1437, Mar 31, 2016, SPA -- The United States and its military coalition partners conducted 27 airstrikes against Daesh targets in Iraq and Syria on Wednesday, the Combined Joint Task Force said. In Iraq, the U.S.-led coalition staged 25 airstrikes near eight cities. Concentrated near Mosul, Qayyarah, and Sultan Abdallah, the strikes hit nine Daesh tactical units as well as multiple fighting positions and a communications facility, the taskforce said in a statement Thursday.
