Riyadh, 04 Rabi'II,1437 AH, 14 January,2016 , SPA -- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's vision of the importance of investment of capabilities of all categories of citizens in the process of the development of society is embodied in the cause of disability and the needs of the disabled persons. This distinctive human relationship is registered in a 30 year old record of the King's personal, humanitarian, and scientific attention, initiatives, and support for the needs of the disabled. The beginning was in 1402AH, when he was the Governor of Riyadh, he directed to support the establishment of Disabled Children's Association in Riyadh to be sponsored by Al-Birr Society in addition to providing the financial support for the Association's first project. Since that date, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud continued his patronage of the Association without interruption until he patronized, on behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Late King Fahd bin Abdulaziz, the first conference on Disability and Rehabilitation which was organized during the period from 13-16/05/1413 AH, which issued a number of important recommendations approved by the King.
