Sochi, Muharram 29, 1437, Nov 11, 2015, SPA -- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has taken part in the 7th East Europe and Asia countries conference on terror combat and fight against violent extremism which was held in the Russian city of Sochi recently. Sheikh Mohammed bin Fahd Al Abdullah, President of the Commission for Investigation and General Prosecution, led the Kingdom's delegation to the conference. Attending the event at an invitation of Russia's general prosecutor Yuri Chaica, Sheikh Al Abdullah presented a paper at the conference on the efforts of the Kingdom in the fight against terrorism and the view point of Islam on terror. He gave an account on the measures taken by the Saudi authorities to combat terrorism, including a ban on travel to fighting-ravaged areas and enacting the anti-terror system, and highlighting Saudi Ulema fatwas banning terrorism as anti-Islam practice. He cast light on the role of Prince Mohammed bin Naif Center for Religious Advising.
