Rome, Rabi'II 24, 1436, February 13, 2015, SPA -- Italy has urged its nationals living in Libya to leave the country "temporarily" due to heightened security risks, the ANSA news agency reported Friday, saying the message came from the embassy in Tripoli. The foreign ministry in Rome said the embassy communication merely confirmed an official travel advice issued on February 1, following the attack on the luxury Corinthia Hotel in Tripoli, which left 10 people dead, including five foreigners. "We renew the pressing invitation to our citizens not to go to Libya and to those who are still there to temporarily leave the country," the message on the Viaggiare Sicuri (Travel Safely) website of the foreign ministry says. A ministry official told dpa that there are "120 to 130" Italians in the north African nation. --SPA 20:29 LOCAL TIME 17:29 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
