10 Dead after Train Derails in Southern India

New Delhi, Rabi'II 24, 1436, February 13, 2015, SPA -- At least 10 passengers died and 17 were injured when a train derailed in India's southern state of Karnataka on Friday, dpa quoted police as saying. The engine and eight coaches derailed near the border with Tamil Nadu state, over an hour after the train left state capital Bangalore. The accident occurred after the train hit a boulder that had fallen on the track, Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu said in a tweet.
