Kabul, Rabi'I 16, 1436, January 07, 2015, SPA -- Ten people were killed and five wounded Wednesday in a series of attacks by insurgents across Afghanistan, officials said, including at a police training centre in the eastern province of Khost, according to dpa. "One of them detonated his explosives-laden car at the entrance of the centre and two others who were entering the compound were shot dead by police," said Mobarez Zadran, spokesman for the province. He said two officers were injured in the explosion. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack. In the northern province of Baghlan, six construction workers were killed by the Taliban, the authorities said.
