Islamabad/New Delhi, Rabi'I 9, 1436, Dec 31, 2014, SPA -- Two Pakistani troops and one Indian soldier were killed Wednesday when security forces exchanged fire in the volatile border region, officials in both countries confirmed according to dpa. Two troopers of the Chenab Rangers were hit by bullets fired by Indian security forces in Narowal district, a military statement said, adding that both men succumbed to injuries at a hospital after the incident.
