Berlin, Dhu-AlHijjah 28, 1435, October 22, 2014, SPA -- US Secretary of State John Kerry urged Russia on Wednesday to take Western concerns over the conflict in Ukraine seriously, according to dpa. Speaking in the German capital after a memorial ceremony at the site of the Berlin Wall, he said: "The ability to criticize, to say what we want ... is still being threatened in too many parts of the world and is even being threatened here in Europe." He called Russia's takeover this year of Crimea and support for rebels in Russian-speaking areas of eastern Ukraine, "crossing the lines of sovereignty." The international community wanted this to be taken seriously by "Russia, with whom we do not seek conflict, with whom we would much sooner be working together to solve the problems of the world." --SPA 14:45 LOCAL TIME 11:45 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
