Riyadh, Dhu-AlQa'dah 26, 1435, September 21, 2014, SPA -- Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Chair for Historical Studies and Civilization of Arabian Peninsula at King Saud University has worked since its launch before four years to deepen scientific and heritage knowledge of the Arabian Peninsula, which has witnessed a lot of events and contributed to the construction of many human civilizations, including the establishment of the Saudi state, which laid the foundations of Security and stability in the region. The Chair was established after the approval of Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense that the Chair be named after him stemming from his belief in the importance of concerted national efforts in the service of history of the Arabian Peninsula; and the Crown Prince supported its activities.
