Al-Riyadh and Al-Bilad newspapers reported in their editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is characterized by the geographical expansion and population diversity which gives it great cultural richness at various levels. The diverse cultural richness was attractively shown in the national events accompanying the celebration of the anniversary of Saudi Arabia's Founding Day through the diversity of folk arts and traditional costumes that adorned the sides of the squares and areas designated to celebrate the occasion, the papers said. Saudi society is taking rapid steps to open up to other societies through the recreational and tourism seasons, which have begun to attract thousands of visitors from different countries of the world, the papers added. The celebration of this occasion makes everybody proud of this country's ancient history, which dates back to more than 300 years, as well as its great rulers and leaders, the papers further added.
