Riyadh, Jan. 09, 2022, SPA -- Official Spokesman of the Ministry of Health Dr. Mohammed Al-Abdulaali said today that the world is still witnessing daily cases of the coronavirus, with an accelerating race worldwide to provide vaccines. He pointed out that the epidemiological curve in the Kingdom is going through a declining acceleration, following previous rapid increases, citing the efforts made by health authorities, the society as well as the commitment to precautionary measures and receiving vaccinations. He added that there is a constant follow-up of critical cases that are also recording an increase, but a bit different from the one used to be before, citing high vaccination rate, whereas in 2020 the number of cases that were admitted into intensive care units amounted to thousands compared to the current figures.
