Custodian of Two Holy Mosques Approves Granting Saudi Citizenship to a Number of Distinguished Competencies, Saudi Press Report

Riyadh, Nov. 12, 2021, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspaper editorially reported that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has approved granting the Saudi Citizenship to a number of distinguished competencies and expertise in many specialized areas. Such localizing and attracting competencies would effectively contribute to accomplish great achievements in many various fields , the paper said. Attracting competencies will have future extensions, as they will transfer their knowledge and expertise in their areas of specialization to youths and thus we will have achieved more than one goal at the same time, the paper added. This step would contribute to improving the quality of performance in businesses and jobs as part of the goals of the Saudi Arabian vision 2030. In another context, Al-Yaum newspaper editorially reported that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has made global progresses in various fields, including economic competitiveness indices, information technology, environmental performance, entrepreneurship and others. Saudi Arabia, through its ambitious vision, has made qualitative leaps in the field of digital transformation, reaching the concept of smart government, the paper said. These efforts have contributed to achieving advanced positions in the United Nations e-government development index (EGDI), the global ranking of the digital communications infrastructure index as well as other advanced centers globally, the paper added.
