Riyadh, February 02, 2023, SPA -- The President of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Fahd bin Hassan Al Aqran, received here today the British explorer Mark Evans and his team, after completing the second round of his expedition, which took 16 days in the desert of the Kingdom, starting from the Al-Turaif neighborhood in Al-Diriyah in the city of Riyadh down to the city of Historic Jeddah. During the meeting, Evans gave an explanation about his trip "Reviving the Heart of the Arabian Peninsula", which the team undertook in the footsteps of the traveler Abdullah Philby 106 years ago from east to west of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, passing through Riyadh, during which they crossed the deserts, mountains, and reefs of the Kingdom on foot.
