Riyadh, Jan 11, 2022, SPA -- The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Ibrahim Abdullah Alkhorayef has inaugurated the 8th consultative meeting of Arab ministers concerned with mineral resources affairs, and the ministerial meeting of the countries participating in the International Mining Conference to be hosted by Riyadh, under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in the presence of ministers, ambassadors and heads of official delegations of the 32 participating countries. In a key speech, Alkhorayef stressed that this meeting, which coincides with the International Mining Conference, aims to create a sustainable development for the mining sector in the Arab countries, achieve a balance between social development and the preservation and protection of the environment, as well as provide the Arab countries with an opportunity to benefit from global experiences and expertise to develop the mining sector, in addition to the establishment of value-added and integrated mining industries, starting from production to manufacturing. --SPA 21:56 LOCAL TIME 18:56 GMT 0037 www.spa.gov.sa/w1676967
