Riyadh, February 04, 2022, SPA -- As part of the establishment of scientific and research activity in cooperation with educational institutions in the region, King Salman Royal Natural Reserve (KSRNR) has launched a Field Survey Project that will cover 40% of the reserve area. Through this project, a field study was conducted with students of the Faculty of Sciences in Tabuk University to play a primary role in the survey process under the supervision of faculty members and the environmental experts of the KSRNR. This project aims to acquire primary data to allow for the proper planning of future projects. The most critical projects are revegetation and maintaining the wildlife by adopting the Landscape Design methodology to achieve proper land zoning and activities inside the reserve. This cooperation between the KSRNR and the University is a precedent that has not taken place in the Middle East in establishing a future scientific and research activity specializing in scientific research to give scientists and students an opportunity for field experience. --SPA 16:44 LOCAL TIME 13:44 GMT 0014 www.spa.gov.sa/w1687340
