First Batch of Makkah Route Initiative's Beneficiaries from Pakistan Arrive at KAIA in Jeddah

Jeddah, June 16, 2022, SPA -- The first batch of the pilgrims who benefited from (Makkah Route Initiative) from the Republic of Pakistan arrived today at King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA) in Jeddah. The launch of the Makkah Route Initiative in Pakistan for 2022, in addition to the countries of Malaysia, Indonesia, Morocco and Bangladesh, comes as a continuation of the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in facilitating Hajj, and the keenness of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Crown Prince to take care of the holy sites' visitors. Makkah Route Initiative is one of the programs of the Kinbgdom's Vision 2030 and aims to complete the procedures for the pilgrims from their countries, starting with issuing the visa electronically and taking the fingerprint, and the completion of passport procedures at the airport of the country of departure after verifying the availability of health requirements, in addition to the luggage coding and sorting according to transportation and housing arrangements in the Kingdom. Upon their arrival, they move directly to buses to take them to their places of residence in Makkah and Madinah, with designated paths, while the service agencies deliver their luggage to their place of residence.
